As a long time community organizer and activist, I recognize that reparations are just and overdue. I cannot undo whiteness and all the complex layers of oppression in our country by offering some cheap appointments, but I can begin to live into reparations and wealth redistribution as a way of life. I experience racial and class privilege and one way I can redistribute privileges afforded to me is to share my hard skills by reinvesting into local communities that commonly have reduced access to quality health care.
